The mission of the National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.) is to expand the participation and contribution of America's 54 million men, women and children with disabilities in all aspects of life.
- Project ACTION:
Accessible Community Transportation in Our Nation) is a congressionally created national technical assistance program authorized under the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA). The foundational work of Project ACTION is in promoting cooperation between the disability community and transportation industry. Also this site has established a database of accessible transportation throughout the nation.
